 This is the first annual Bandbo Local Music Awards. We are honoring the band that has the best online presence. We’re an online company so it’s only appropriate. Being our first go at this we made it pretty simple—no sponsors, additional categories, etc… BUT, we are giving each member of the winning band a solid crystal Bandbo Local Music Award with the band name engraved on it. We didn’t want some cheesy CD or plaque. In reality, if you win, you could very well pawn the awards to get a new amp or something. Also, the winning band is placed on our awards homepage (picture and info) and then we’ll create a page of previous winners once next year’s awards come around.
Anyway, this is a great opportunity to be recognized for your online efforts, We know many bands are frantically promoting online with HTML flyers, banner ads, songs/videos as well as with all their websites and profiles, and we want to reward you for that. Judges are scoring in several areas, don’t be discouraged if you don’t excel in a couple categories.
